For us do-it-yourselfer’s, there’s a website to learn about: ifixit.com. This site gives us detailed instructions on how to fix things for ourselves, with an emphasis on electronics repair.

The site offers repair manuals, step-by-step instructions, and diagnostic tools to help us troubleshoot problems. It also offers links to any parts we might need for the repair!

What’s more, the site is truly collaborative. Users can post additional information and fix-it tips with each article.

Next time, instead of running to the electronics repair shop–we can fix it ourselves with iFixit.com?
