Those of us of a certain age may remember a 1976 movie called NETWORK starring Faye Dunaway, William Holden, Peter Finch, and Robert Duvall. Peter Finch won an academy award for his mad prophet “Mad as Hell” speech scene. Wikipedia calls NETWORK a satirical film. The irony is the Mad as Hell speech still has very significant relevance today, 34 years later about what’s going on with the economy, credit banking system, health care, and the desperation of 10′s of millions of unemployed, under-employed, and medically uninsured people. Click here to read what Wikipedia has to say about the 1976 movie NETWORK.
